Canada-India Business Forum in Mumbai and New Delhi
This past week has been an exciting time for Rising Phoenix International, we have announced the opening of our offices in India, participated in the Canada-India Business summit in Mumbai and New Delhi and got to meet many distinguished Canadian politicians and Indian politicians and celebrities.
Rising Phoenix International’s President/CEO Carol Mastantuono and our Executive Director of Innovation and Strategy Marcus Tabachnick arrived in Mumbai on February 19th and were greeted by our partners at ESS Global Gurinder Bhatti and Suhail Seth. They enjoyed some time seeing the beautiful city of Mumbai and stopping for some street food.
On February 20th Rising Phoenix participated in the Canada-India Mumbai business forum. RPINTL got a chance to meet with many politicians and others in the business and education worlds to discuss Canada as a study destination for International students. We were so very honoured to have met so many wonderful people some of which include Honourable
Amarjeet Sohi, Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, Government of Canada, the Honorable Harjit Singh Sajjan Minister of National Defence of Canada and Sophie Trudeau the wife of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. How
ever, it was a very special honour to have met Canada’s Prime Minister himself Mr. Justin Trudeau. This was a day and event we will never forget.
February 21st was dedicated training sessions for all our partners in India as well as meetings for the set up of our upcoming International Indian Processing Office. That evening the team was again honoured to have been invited by High Commissioner Nadir Patel dinner reception celebrating Canada-India ties
to honor the visit of Prime Minister
Trudeau. The event was truly amazing and below are some of the pictures we were very fortunate to take with so many esteemed and wonderful people. Rising Phoenix was then off to New Delhi for the India Canada Business Session with Prime Minister Trudeau. Again, it was an very interested event filled with great insights into the future of Canada-India business and international education ties. Below are some pictures from the exciting event
